FAQs
TRT Home Health Care
What is private pay home care rate and hours?
Private pay rates are applicable to home care services including in-home care, private duty nursing, and hospice home health aides. These services are provided by our home health agency, with rates and hours determined through a service agreement negotiated directly with the patient or their designated guardian.
Do you offer services on weekends and holidays?
Our medical care is usually available seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous care for our clients.
Do you have anyone who can talk to the family, free of charge, to explain the services before we start?
We provide complimentary consultations with our bilingual staff members, social workers, and placement coordinators. They can thoroughly explain our services, assist in coordinating care before it begins, and help with Missouri Medicaid program applications if needed.
Do you have a minimum amount of hours that must be met daily?
There is no minimum daily hour requirement for our services in Missouri. We aim to provide flexible care options to meet our clients' individual needs.
Do you have set private pay rates?
We have established hourly private pay rates for our services. Typically, we bill in 15-minute increments, with the exact rate depending on the level of care required.
Do you have an on-call phone on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for emergencies?
We maintain a 24/7 on-call phone service to address any emergencies that may arise, ensuring our clients have support at all times.
Am I allowed to request a replacement aide?
If you find that your assigned aide is not meeting your needs, you are welcome to request a replacement. Our goal is to ensure you receive the appropriate assistance and care.
Can a participant have a family member or friend ride along?
For the safety of our patients and to comply with liability standards, we do not permit family members or friends to ride along during care visits. This policy is independently set by our agency and is not regulated by the Department of Medicaid and Home Services.
